Confession

I feel bad but I'll post this anyhow...Is anyone one of the lucky thousands to travel on the airlines with their bike?...did you take along some C02 cartridges just in case you flat during your vacation? Did you unpack your neatly packed rig to find the TSA had ripped it apart and confiscated your lube and C02 cartriges...well sorry. But I found where they dispose them...

no, I don't work for the TSA.

i just got a sternly-worded letter from the friggin' FAA that CO2's are dangerous and that i could be fined huge dollah for bringing them on a plane again. letter came 3 months after TSA took them outta my bike box. gotta love gov't efficiency. TSA also snagged my fenders when diggin' through the bike box. theives.

now, where are those co2's stashed?

the bastards almost got my "tools" on the way back from texas but my friend nonchalantly let me know of their digging and I put the smack down. I wonder who would have beem the recipient of that confiscation?ANDY

At Logan they made us take off our shoes and took Tiff's little jacknife she won at a mt bike race (ok, maybe she would be dangerous with a knife)...somehow my chain lube made it back forth to from San Jose under the radar and also to Tampa this past Feb.

I should bring in a camera and take a picture of the confiscation area...everything from air conditioners (don't ask),chain saws, camp stoves, gas cans, lots of knives and pointy objects, and of course...C02 cartridges.
